Delete your account in the app
- Open the Sabiq app.
- Go to Settings using the bottom navigation or your profile icon.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted and wait for the result. If deletion fails, retry or contact support.
Don’t have access to the app?
Email support@uhudlabs.com from the email address associated with your Sabiq account. Use the subject “Delete my Sabiq account.”
After verifying that the request came from the account owner, we will permanently delete the account and associated personal data as soon as reasonably possible.
What gets deleted
- Your Sabiq profile and Sabiq authentication record
- Activity history, including Quran progress, dhikr counts, streaks, XP, Seeds, and badges
- Donation-allocation history
- Push-notification tokens
- Reports you filed and accounts you blocked
- Sabiq reflections and comments, including hidden items, likes, reflection reports, and account-linked reflection-open events and delivery receipts
Aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may be retained.
Local data and connected services
Account deletion removes account-linked records from Sabiq’s active database. It does not clear the device’s local prayer settings, checkmarks, widget data, reflection drafts and saved publication copies, hidden-author preferences, or pending analytics. Turn off prayer reminders in the app if you no longer want them.
Deleting an individual Sabiq reflection or comment hides it from public responses but retains its text in the database until account deletion. Removing a like deletes the like record.
Deleting your Sabiq account or disconnecting QuranReflect does not delete your separate Google, Apple, Quran.com, or QuranReflect account, or content held by those services. Use the relevant service’s controls or support to request deletion there.
Provider logs and backups are separate from the active database; we do not promise a fixed deletion period for them. Contact support about retained information or an erasure request. See our Privacy Policy’s retention section for details.
