These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Uhud Labs LLC (“Uhud Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Texas limited liability company. They govern uhudlabs.com, khutbahapp.com, and our Sabiq, Heemu, and Zeir mobile apps (the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13, or the higher local age of digital consent, to create an account. Minors may use the Services only with a parent or guardian’s involvement. You are responsible for accurate account information, credential security, and account activity. Do not share, sell, or transfer your account; notify us of suspected unauthorized use.
2. Licence and acceptable use
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the apps on devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not break the law; copy, scrape, resell, or publicly perform content without permission; reverse engineer except where law permits; disrupt or gain unauthorized access; manipulate activity, Seeds, rewards, streaks, or referrals; create fake or duplicate reward accounts; transmit malicious code; harass, defraud, or harm others; or extract data at scale or build a competing product. We may investigate and remove rewards, restrict features, or terminate accounts.
3. Seeds, rewards, and the Akhirah Account
Sabiq awards Seeds for activities such as Quran recitation and dhikr. Seeds let users direct the allocation of funds already committed by Uhud Labs and donor partners.
Seeds have no monetary value. They are not currency, legal tender, securities, stored value, property, a donation by you, or a claim against us or a charity. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred, redeemed, withdrawn, or exchanged, and do not create a tax deduction.
Earn rates and prospective caps may change based on available funding, participation, campaigns, or operations. We will not retroactively reduce earned, validated Seeds. Seeds not validated within the stated period expire. We may cap, pause, change, or discontinue allocations. Uhud Labs is not a charity and does not solicit donations from users. Allocations are aggregated, subject to thresholds and partner constraints, and may be redirected to a comparable cause if necessary.
Akhirah Account spiritual-reward visualizations are motivational and educational only—not a guarantee or measurement of divine reward, acceptance, or spiritual state, and not a religious ruling.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Apple or Google processes purchases. Subscriptions renew at the disclosed price and interval until canceled. Cancel through the store at least 24 hours before renewal. Store rules govern cancellations and refunds. Prices and features may change from a future renewal with legally required notice; ending a subscription may remove paid features and elevated Seed caps.
5. Content and intellectual property
The Services’ design, software, text, artwork, interface, and branding belong to us or our licensors. Religious and third-party text, translations, hadith, dua, audio, lectures, and other materials remain their owners’ property and are licensed only for personal, non-commercial use.
You retain ownership of content you submit and grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display it to operate and improve the Services. Do not submit unlawful, obscene, hateful, harassing, deceptive, impersonating, or infringing material. We may remove content, reset names, or suspend accounts. Copyright complaints should identify the work, location, contact details, and good-faith basis for the claim.
6. Religious content disclaimer
Religious content is educational and devotional. Sources, translations, transliterations, attributions, and interpretations may contain errors or differ among scholars. Nothing in the Services is a fatwa or substitute for qualified scholarly guidance.
7. App-specific terms
Heemu
Heemu is a voluntary mindfulness tool, not security, parental-control, monitoring, medical, or psychological treatment. Do not rely on reminders while driving or using safety-critical apps. Reminder delivery depends on permissions, device settings, and platform restrictions.
Zeir
Audio is licensed for personal streaming and, where offered, offline listening in the app. Titles may change or disappear for licensing reasons. Do not extract or redistribute audio.
Sabiq
Notifications depend on timezone, permissions, device settings, and platform restrictions and may be delayed or unavailable. Do not rely on Sabiq for time-critical purposes.
8. Third-party services
Sign-in, hosting, notification, store, and linked third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their services or content, and their availability may affect ours.
9. Availability and termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, rewards, or content. You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a violation, legal requirement, or to protect users or the Services. On termination, your licence ends and Seeds, rewards, and progress are forfeited without compensation. Provisions that should survive will survive.
10. Warranties, liability, and indemnity
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted, secure, error-free service or complete accuracy of content, translations, or attributions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Uhud Labs and its personnel are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages or loss of profits, data, goodwill, Seeds, or rewards. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the previous 12 months or US$100. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
You agree to indemnify Uhud Labs and its personnel against claims, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use, your content, or your breach of these Terms or third-party rights, to the extent applicable law permits.
11. Governing law and disputes
Texas law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. State and federal courts in Fort Bend County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction. EEA and UK consumers retain mandatory local protections and access to local courts.
12. Apple-specific terms
For App Store downloads, this agreement is between you and Uhud Labs, not Apple. Apple does not provide support and is not responsible for the apps, claims, compliance, or intellectual-property disputes. Apple may refund the purchase price for a warranty failure but, where law permits, has no other warranty duty. You represent that sanctions do not prohibit your use. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries and may enforce these Terms.
13. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms and will post the new version and date, with additional notice for material changes. Continued use after effectiveness means acceptance. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about the Services. Unenforceable provisions are severed without affecting the rest; non-enforcement is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
